Sunday, July 25, 1999 - Hot Basement Tasting @ Howard's (Westport): Honey and minerals. A bit of grapefruit "squirt". Some off-flavors at first, but it blew off rather quickly. Drinking nicely now, but I question the long-term drinkability of this wine. Seems to have the structure to go a couple of more years, but I would not tempt fate. Drink up.
