Saturday, January 14, 2023 - I had put this aside some years ago thinking maybe use it for a party. It has unexpectedly matured and greatly improved. 60% cabernet franc, 28% syrah,12% merlot, it originally was quite stringent with notes of tar with not much fruit. It has balanced and integrated well with dark crushed fruit on the nose and palate. Corked and left on the counter was excellent 2 days later.
