93 Points

Saturday, June 30, 2012 - Color of rhubarb. Beautiful floral aromas of honeysuckle and passion flower. Tart cherry, candied apple, plumb and fig round out the palate. Carmel comes through from the oak treatment.
This is a very clear expression of Washington syrah. I think it is very well done. Not a fruit bomb. I recall being very excited about the funkiness that in the rocks possesses (always love that funk in WA syrah), this bottling falls just the slightest bit short of that. Amazing accompaniment with filet mignon 93+
