Sunday, January 30, 2011 - Very dark in the glass. The nose here is deep tart red fruit, very pleasing, some mineral notes in there, asphalt and 90% dark chocolate. Pretty red fruit and red grapes on the palate, very full intensity, like chewing up a mouthful of tart blackberries and red grapes with seeds. Strongly structured, very strong acidity. Long finish, the acidity and tannin hold on for 20+ seconds. Drinking great now although this will obviously improve with time. Very well balanced even now, just high intensity all the way around. 89+
