Monday, May 23, 2011 - Deep dark ruby. Plum, earth, sous bois with a hint of menthol in the nose. A bit of oak at the beginning that seemed to integrate in the glass with air. Rich palate with dark fruits, good acid/fruit balance, moderate dry extract, dusty tannins and nice lift on the finish. Needs time....at least 2-3 years.
