Monday, May 31, 2021 - Crimson in color. 14% ABV. Subtle nose of red fruits, wet pavement, earth and flowers. Medium body with ample acidity. Elegant and somewhat rustic. Sour cherries, anise, tobacco and tar on the palate. Nice length on the finish with mostly resolved tannins. Beautiful Barolo that is absolutely ready to drink. Not quite as good as the ’00 I had this time last year.
