Friday, June 3, 2011 - Shetland / Wilshire Wine Tasting: Tasted blind at Shetland/Wilshire wine tasting. Decanted for about 2 hours. Dark fruit, medium bodied cabernet. had a good mouthfeel, and a slightly sweet finish. Oak is noticeable but not over done. Well made wine with good fruit. This was a really good effort. Upon the reveal, this might have been the surprise of the night for me. Great QPR, and something that I will go out and buy.
