Friday, March 9, 2007 - 100% Cabernet Franc. This wine was a hedonists delight. Dark purple, dense, plush, highly aromatic, with fruit and floral aromas just exploding out of the glass. On the palate, initially tart blueberry flavors gave way to sweet blackberry pie and warm baking spice, with some black licorice, sweet oak, and smooth tannins on the finish. This was really good, and will be amazing in five years.
