Thursday, November 22, 2007 - Three hours of sleep, a huge hangover, terrible stemware and no lunch probably didn’t do this tremendous wine all the justice it deserved. I had brought this myself as it is one the favourite wines of my friend. Had it with huge lambchops, cheese-filled ravioli, pesto genovese and Shitake al Forno. Oh boy, I love this wine. A very complex wine based on 100% Cabernet Franc. Notes of Tobacco, rosemary, thyme, peppermint, liquorice, vanilla and ripe dark fruit lead the show. A perfect structure that holds the typical Bolgheri warmth in place. A long, persistent finish. Excellent! 94 points
