Sunday, July 27, 2008 - Beautiful wine. At the pop of the cork, I could tell this would be something special. There was this haunting floral quality that reminded me of violets. Also in the mix, were iron, tobacco, exotic spices, and dark fruits. The color was ruby with some bricking. On the tongue, it was subtle with notes of chocolate, plums, vanilla, earth, and iron. The wine had a very good complex length. Outstanding.
