Saturday, May 5, 2012 - Popped and poured and evolved substantially over 30 minutes in the glass. Nice earthy funk on the nose, though a little more subtle than on the 2008. Bright cherry notes on the front of the palate that give way to more subtle notes of blueberry and plum. Medium finish. On the whole, nicely traditional style, well balanced.
