Thursday, November 17, 2016 - Fantastic, perfectly aged, complex vintage Champagne. My gosh, this was a good bottle. Notes of brioche, orange peel, toasted almond, and marzipan. There were plenty of fine, tiny bubbles - but this wasn't the vigorously bubbling youthful wine that many expect with champagne. This was a champagne with age and dignity, and it was delicious.
