Sunday, November 11, 2012 - The condition of this bottle was impeccable. The fill was well into the neck and just a quarter inch from the bottom of the cork. The color was quite youthful, with just a little lightening on the rim. Although I haven't had many Dunns before, I doubt I would have pegged this as one, as the tough and tannic character these wines are noted for was not really displayed here. Instead, this was an accessable, fruit filled wine with some secondary character beginning to evolve. The tannins were sweet and fine grained and the finish persistent. A lovely and enjoyable wine.
