Saturday, October 11, 2008 - Also had a very dry cork. The color was perfect deep ruby with a mahogany edge, and the nose was strong and clean. The fruit was concentrated dark berry -- blackberry, cherries -- and the acidity was moderate, as were the tannins. After an hour in the glass the complexities emerged with a strong hint of spice. Lovely bottle.
