Saturday, June 25, 2022 - As 87 is my birth vintage, I have tried most of the 87 Napas that are highly acclaimed. The Dunn Howell Mountain is consistently my favorite alongside Dominus, Montelena and Opus one. The wine tonight exhibits herbs, cassis, dark fruit, smoke and gravel. The fruit is round on the palate with penetratable depth and layers. While it is drinking at its peak, it is likely to stay elevated for a very long while. 93-94
