Wednesday, December 15, 2010 - Medium ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of red cherries, spice and strawberries. Light-to-medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and light-to-medium, slightly astringent tannins. The flavors mirror the nose. The middle palate is solid and the medium-length finish is somewhat dry. This is certainly not a bad wine (remember, 85 is not a bad score). It is likewise not a bad value. That said, to my palate, it is not a 90-point wine and certainly would not be in my top 100 wines of 2010. Drink now-12/14.
