Saturday, February 5, 2011 - Nice Ruby red color to mid-rim, lighter at the edges. Fair amount of light passes. This is a typical Oregon PN on the nose, with some tart-raspberry and cherry on the nose. there is some also some woody-nutty funk, in a nice way, that adds some more character from the typical Oregon PN. On the palate, there are some additional cranberry sweet-tartness, and some additional spice, with a litte green action on the finish. nothing bitter, but it's there. Overall, a nice PN experience at this price, and seems to dieliver good value for a banner vintage year in Oregon.
