Sunday, August 21, 2011 - Light ruby; candied cherries, earth, smoky bacon, wild strawberries; ripe sour cherry, glycerin, medium body, good balance, good acidity, firm ripe tannins, good finish.
Pleasant earthy, smoked meat aromas mingled with wild cherries and strawberries. The palate seemed somewhat lean with the zippy acidity. A good food wine, more Burgundian than New World.
