Sunday, March 12, 2023 - Probably the BEST NV Rose Champagne alongside Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose. Cuvee Rose Brut is aged on Lees for 5 years and uses 100% Pinot Noir grapes from 10 different Crus. and the grapes are macerated by a technique only known by the Laurent-Perrier house themselves. The mousse is great, the color is a light pink, the fruit taste is every succulent red fruit you can think of, especially Cherries, and Raspberries. The Champagne is amazing approachable and well rounded. It is dry but it finishes velvety and rich with fruit. Aftertaste is crisp, with a bright orange flavor and a bit of chalk. You can taste almost any red fruit you can imagine. Drink slowly and let it decant.
