Thursday, March 1, 2012 - What a great surprise. I was expecting a nice wine, but this was truly spectacular. This sat in my cellar for 5+ years, and time has been kind. Very stubborn cork; I'm getting weak in my middle age. Light copper colored. Amazing purity of red fruit, with stunning bouquet of strawberry, cherry, and a little citrus. Similar palate, with the addition of burnt sugar and orange notes. Very crisp and fresh but still creamy, with a lively fine mousse.
