Sunday, October 19, 2014 - 2014 K&L Champagne Tasting (K&L San Francisco Store): K&L Champagne Tasting-SF. Almost strawberry color in the glass, profuse tiny bubbles. Nose of freshly baked strawberry pie, lots of hints of yeast and minerals, more of the same on the palate, delicious to sip and savor, slightly subdued but elegant and unique, thinking man's Billecart-Salmon Rose, medium body and a terrific finish, bought 2 bottles to cellar.
