Saturday, March 17, 2018 - I enjoyed this but I really think that I should have paired this with food. Instead of strawberries, pudding at that kind of crap, I think a lot of Rose Champagnes work better with pink game dishes or rack of lamb.
My best Rose Champagne match to date was Bolly 2002 with rack of lamb. A lot of Champagne marketing focuses on more 'feminine' food pairings, but I suspect that LPR could handle meatier options.

4/29/2018 1:52:00 PM - Agreed, especially with stronger styles like LP and Bollinger, you can certainly pair such Roses with meatier options. I paired it with Korean BBQ fairly recently. Turned out great!
