Friday, January 17, 2020 - (Disgorged in fall of 2007, 100% Pinot Noir, base year 2002, dosage 9 gr/l)
Lovely salmon pink colour with an endless stream of very fine bubbles in the glass. Maturing nose showing wild strawberries, gravel sand and a touch of vanilla oak. Smoothing acidity on the palate with a nice raspberry fruity freshness before the lengthy finish showing a sweetness of wild strawberries in a very delicious way. I’m always surprised to how well the Cuvée Rosé develops with an extra decade in the cellar!
(Probably best with 5-20 years extra cellaring)
