Also not noticeably present was the creamy mouthful of which some speak. As I say, with a wine produced in this volume, I may just have picked up a tired bottle, or one from a less good batch. However, I won't be going back. There is more interesting and enjoyable drinking in this style. I would drink Billecart-Salmon, Bollinger, or some Oz or NZ rose styles ahead of this.
