Friday, January 25, 2019 - Lovely copper red colour with a very pleasant nose reminiscent of a warm summers evening with an incipient maturity showing freshly baked bread, sea shells, hazelnuts and ocean covering the wild strawberries backing it all up. Palate with a soft acidity combined with fresh strawberries to continue the summer feeling that is so much needed in this winter darkness we have here in the north of Europe right now. So lovely in its youth, and knowing how gracefully it evolves with extended cellar time, this is the perfect cuvée for both short and long term drinking. Tonight marching the lobster soup as good as it was an aperitif too!
(Best with 0-20 years of extra cellar time)
