Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Prior bottle was a bit under two months ago, but I keep finding great occasions to open these bottles.... Nose was identical with a mixture of red cherry, floral and lighter, brighter strawberry notes. Medium bodied with the same combination of rounded red cherry and brighter, lively strawberry both upfront and through the middle. The mid-body continues to show good depth as well as balance from the tart qualities on the backside. Tart red cherry, acidity and minerals on the finish. This is a really harmonious wine, showing the fruit well but with the structural qualities for it to show as balanced and in a fashion that it should be able to maintain for a few more years. Considering how quickly I'm going through these and how popular it has been every time I open a bottle, I will clearly need more.
