Saturday, November 1, 2014 - Cork was off but the juice held up. I abused this bottle as it was given to my 10+ years ago. Until a few years ago I had no formal and proper cellar. Who know what temp fluctuation this one had to endure. Color shows it's age with a bit of Amber. Nose has a surprising earthtone. Initial taste of dark berries and tobacco leaves. Finish is bright yet a little acidic. The age of the Cabernet grapes held up surprisingly well. Overall happy surprise for such an inexpensive bottle of wine 15 years ago.
