It has all the fruit, aromatics, and grit you would want for an awesome McV Aussie shiraz, but those tannins still haven't melted quite off yet. Didn't distract too much from the rest of the wine, but I think this wine would even be nicer 3-4 years down the lane. I'll try it again then. Definitely not a cocktail wine. Enjoy with the appropriate grilled meats.
