Monday, August 22, 2022 - Slightly translucent red in color. Aromas of blackberries and spice. Precise on the palate, blackberries, blueberries, spice. Peppery on the mid-palate. Fine Tannins, bright acidity, good balance. Finishes sharp, clean, dark fruited and very long. Perhaps a hint of heat is evident but nothing bothersome (14.9% ABV). Becomes lusher with food. Very nice wine, perhaps a bit past prime but still drinking well. Drink over the next 3 years.
