Sunday, December 23, 2012 - Pop & pour. Certainly not as robust as when we tasted at the winery 3 weeks ago (holiday barrel). Somewhat thin, with predominantly sour cherry flavors. Highly acidic as well. Previous tasting was all berry fruit, with much more body and lighter acid. I'm a tad disappointed to be honest. This does have a lot of secondary flavors, like forest floor, tobacco, a touch of vanilla...but the thin body and sour cherry just doesn't work for me.
