I knew I was taking a risk letting this wine/vintage get to this point......With the pull of the cork I was encouraged - great fruit with a sense of balance. First tastes, very impressive, but then it went downhill quickly. Drinkable for sure, even a bit of enjoyment, but no WOW factor with it this far past prime.
