Monday, June 30, 2014 - Great traddo CdP, with short cork (!?), perfectly mature and a wine that will start fading in maybe 5 yrs from now and then fade slowly over some 10-15-20 years.

Mature red with brownish hues.
Nose had some advanced aromas of cadaver, sludge and stale fruit that added to the experience.
On the palate, it is pristine, mature, rounded, balanced and "one with everything." It lacks in complexity to merit a higher score. But the balance between its components in this old style wine are well worth seeking out as long as you favor the style. Perfect for us Bdx-lovers.

At fabulous 1 star La Rochelle in Omotesando (even if we usually go to their restaurant in Tameikesanno).
