Tuesday, October 23, 2012 - A little burnt earth, red pinot fruit, nice spice and a mossy sous bois side. Supple and giving, with excellent texture, mid palate balance and an expansive mouthfeel for its size. This comes at you rather than drawing you in, and I am in the mood for that tonight. I really enjoy the texture here. Long, lovely and an excellent mix of fruit and savory, with nice sap, and I really like Rieslingfan's freshly turned earth description. A spot on, giving '02 CdB. Not profound, but outstanding and drinking youthfully great right now. A wine to drink and enjoy.
