Saturday, July 6, 2013 - A rare treat. I gather this could have been a 1947 as well since the label was not specific. Orange meniscus. Fragrant spice, bergamot, cinnamon and cherry. Forest floor and fully mature but in no way over the hill. Did fade out about 45 minutes into dinner. A stunning showing of such an old wine. Excellent.
