Monday, April 13, 2020 - No mistaking this for anything other than classic but classy Rioja on the nose, bright cherry fruit merged with warm spice, pipe tobacco, vanilla and a touch of sous bois. The palate shows well integrated fine tannin, juicy acidity and an evolving palate again showing bright cherry, orange peel, truffle, cinnamon and earthy notes with a long evolving finish. Just hitting its stride now but with plenty of years ahead to gain in further complexity.
