Sunday, January 8, 2023 - Coravin fun - Grand Puy Lacoste (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Brambles, cream, leather, dried fruits, a little sweet spice, earth, sous bois, slight fruit tea and meaty notes. Lots going on, all positive, with time the tertiary notes grow as well as a touch of mocha. Fresh, juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, slightly baked brambles is fruit sweet, talc textured tannins, non intrusive alcohol warmth, savoury underpin, leather, earth, sous bois, lovely.
