Tuesday, August 31, 2021 - cork crumbled, but the wine was intact - medium red with an orange rim - mature Pauillac nose of cassis, graphite and oak - thin in the mouth but still enough mature cabernet fruit present to enjoy - tannins mostly resolved, but still present - acidity predominates over fruit - medium 10 sec finish - an elegant old Bordeaux that is clearly fading, but still showing very nicely after 40+ years
