Community Tasting Note

92 Points

Sunday, June 7, 2015 - Decanted 1.5 hours before service. In the glass, red with auburn tints at the rim, fading to dark opaque red at the core. On the nose, currants, graphite, oak, and plums. On the palate, currants, cherries, mint, cedar, and a rough rustic texture on the palate from unresolved tannins. I'm not sure if the tannins will ever resolve here, but the aging notes are present, and it's certainly pleasant enough to drink now.
