Monday, July 31, 2017 - On opening that unmistakable Ponsot nose of smoke, forest floor, animale, red berries and mineralite. Decanted and subsequently quite closed, tart red berries and mineralite but very prominent acidity.
Revisited 24 hours later this remains mineral/acid driven, still very young and primary but an incredible depth and breadth of spicy, dark fruited complexity with all sorts of savoury nuances. Wait at least 5+ years.
