Saturday, April 23, 2022 - 12.8 % ABV 90% Cab, 10% Merlot. Cork was challenging to remove, half way disintegrated but accomplished finally w/ ahso. Wonderful youthful nose, color has faded some with caramel ring. Initial taste test revealed something different about this wine, I'm not able to identify it. We filtered the cork and decanted the wine for a little over an hour. Very drinkable, although past its prime.

I had purchased this wine for a colleague's retirement several years ago, and they were so gracious to share it now. Thank you Doug!
