Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Straw yellow in color with unremarkable perlage. Citrus aromas with notes of yeast and freshly baked bread. The palate is bone dry but lively, with nice fruit and a hint of nuttiness. Alas, there's not a lot of structure in the mouth, and as a result in my opinion this does not compare well with well-made Prosecco or most Champagne. Still, it did the job it was intended to do: excite the palate and pair well with a kale salad. Rated 0 on a scale of -1 to 3.
