Monday, February 15, 2010 - Decanted for about 30 mins before eating with dinner. Definitely a young wine, but harsher and rougher than i would expect. I have had multiple 1999 and 2000 Quilcedas that seemed more balanced. Tannic, certainly, but hopefully that will resolve over the next 3-5 years. Still, a delicious wine. Drunk side by side with 1997 Leonetti that was much more balanced and refined.
