Sunday, December 24, 2006 - A bit of mint and forest floor on the nose; on the palate chocolate/mocha and (first and foremost) gobs of fruit that prevent the oak from seeming like overkill. Long finish. Low acidity. Excellent wine, though it would be better if the alcohol didn't manifest as heat.
