Saturday, March 24, 2018 - If you had given this to me blind, I would have said that this was a nice entry level bordeaux from a ripe vintage - something like 2010. Maybe grand cru classe - but 4er or 5er. Has a tinge of earth and green notes on the nose, but mainly nicely ripe fruit - cherry and blackberry maybe a tinge of currant. On a palate more of the same, medium bodied, ripe but with an acidic edge, does not taste green, but almost bordeaux in profile. Lovely smooth long finish.

Would have to say that this seems to be at end of life. Will revisit with the other half of the bottle tomorrow, but no expectations.

Had this wine, four times, seems to be better earlier, as the promised evolution does not happen.
