Friday, May 7, 2010 - Dark garnet red. Sweet confit, mincemeat, and overripe black plums on the nose with a touch of peppery spice. Notes of mulberry, black plum, notable Asian spice, and blackberry with a touch of vanilla and pepper. Rare steak notes on the finish. Solid structure and mouth-feel. This wine needs about an hour to fully open up. Quite pleasant.
