Sunday, October 21, 2012 - Decanted and aired for 2 hours. Very new world in its jammyness but sill retain some Bordeaux character. Jammy cherry, dark fruits, new oak and vanilla on the nose. The palate is medium/full bodied showing lots of merlot character. Soft wine with dark fruits, jammy cherry, tobacco, anise, and graphite.
Very good Bordeaux and a great QPR. A little atypical for a St-Estephe, but who knows how this turns out in 5-10 years.
Voila !
