Saturday, May 4, 2019 - Complete modern Saint Estephe Bordeaux with a bit more oak then I prefer. Excellent fruit. Medium body and balanced. I believe the wine is just coming into its drinking window after 10 years. Tannins are still prominent but mellowing and the wine is just starting to develop complexity. I would guess this will start really shining in about five more years but is excellent drinking right now in its own way if you decant and let it get happy for a few.
