Sunday, April 22, 2018 - Poured into decanter after another disappointing 07 Uccelliera (88-89). Looks younger in the glass with a transparent dark ruby in the glass, just a touch of orange towards the rim. Fragrant dry red fruit, wood spices, elevated acidity providing freshness, tannins fully integrated. Short to medium finish.
Well done - a rather classic 06 Brunello that is ready to drink now.
