Sunday, June 29, 2014 - Popped and poured. This is a medium red wine with a good, virile color. There is not much sediment, but this still carries tongue-staining qualities. On the nose, there is cherry, garrigue, and some scrubland -- the nose is definitely the best part of this wine. In the mouth, this has an array of red fruit, with a moderate level of alcohol and structure. The finish is limited and remains tight. Overall, this is good now but may be better later. Certainly a good QPR that competes with more expensive CdP. 91 points.
