Monday, August 9, 2021 - Tasted blind. Red fruit, some burnt wood, leather, and a hint of violets on the nose. Still a good amount of tannins left with nice acidity, cherries, and hints of citrus on the palate. Good finish. A very interesting wine and probably my favorite today, although it was very close. Still, I don't think it's worth the current tariffs.
